Blessing of the Animals. Oct 2021.

Thank you to all who came down to Our Lady of Mercy & St Joseph Church last week for the Blessing of the Animals, on the feast day of St Francis of Assisi (patron saint of animals and ecology.) 

It was such a great success that Fr David and Linda Guilding have already laid plans for the event next year! Here is a picture of Miss Walker's dalmatian puppy, Norman, being blessed by Fr David. If you have any photographs of your pets being blessed at the event, do send them in!
