Reading challenge assembly blog:

Summer reading challenge

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Lymington Library to introduce the Summer Reading challenge! The theme of this year is... Marvellous Makers! All you need is is a library card and a visit or two over the summer to take part! We found out that we can sign up at the library and commit to reading 6 books over the summer. Many of us thought we could beat this and are challenging ourselves with our own personal targets! We were excited to hear that audiobooks are included as well as non-fiction and fiction books. Along the way you will receive rewards like smelly stickers. On completion, we were excited to hear that we would receive a medal and a certificate too which would also be celebrated in our school celebration assemblies as well! We cannot wait to get started and many of us have already selected a few titles we would like to read across the summer!
