Year 6 blog:

This week, Year 6 students participated in an engaging and insightful workshop focused on making the right choices. The session aimed to help students understand the importance of decision-making and how their choices can impact their lives, both now and in the future.

Throughout the workshop, students were encouraged to think critically about different scenarios they might encounter, from academic decisions to peer pressure situations. They discussed how to weigh up the consequences of their actions and learned techniques for making responsible, informed choices.

By the end of the session, students felt more confident in their ability to navigate difficult situations and take ownership of their decisions. This workshop was a valuable reminder that the choices we make shape our futures, and it’s important to choose wisely.

It was an afternoon full of thoughtful discussions, teamwork, and practical advice that will surely help our Year 6 students as they continue to grow and face new challenges.

  • Imagine if… all our children were happy and confident, strong in their sense of self and the world that they live in.

  • Imagine if… every child – irrespective of race, background, wealth, identity or ability – felt valued, heard and represented.

  • Imagine if… we gave them all the opportunity to explore and fulfil their potential in a future that we are all making together.

  • Imagine if… we kept a sense of wonder, creativity and learning throughout our lives.
