Poetry Club

Poetry Club have now recorded the second of their three poems for consideration by the 'Poetry by Heart' Panel. Each pupil has learned, by heart, a poem written post -1914.

Do take a look at the attached videos - their performances are just beautiful. We are so proud of our pupils' hard work to learn the poems by heart and to perform them in front of their peers. They have worked hard on these poems over a number of weeks - critiquing and coaching each other in their delivery. They have also worked very hard at home to learn the words by heart!

Over the next three weeks, pupils will then learn a poem from pre 1914, which will also be recorded for consideration by the panel. Poetry Club are excited to share their work with them, and with you!
