Easter Fayre:

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Easter Fayre this year. We were truly amazed by the incredible turnout – it was wonderful to see so many parents and extended family members coming along to celebrate and support our pupils’ hard work. It was also especially lovely to welcome back so many past pupils, making the event feel even more special!

Our pupil leadership groups worked incredibly hard to design and run their own stalls and games, all with a fun Easter twist. Their creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm were evident throughout the event, and they should be very proud of what they achieved. These activities linked closely to our £5 Challenge, where pupils reinvested money raised from the Christmas Fayre. Starting with just £5, they have worked hard to grow their funds this year, while developing valuable enterprise skills.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our PTA for organising the Easter Bonnet Parade. The bonnets on display were absolutely fantastic – we were blown away by the creativity, effort and originality shown by all who took part!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity and support, we are delighted to share that money was raised for a number of important charities chosen by our pupil groups, supporting our commitment to the UNESCO Global Goals.

  • STEM Leaders: Sea Life Trust – £47.80  (Goal 14: Life Below Water)

  • Reading Ambassadors: Libraries Without Borders – £60 (Goal 4: Quality Education)

  • Prayer Leaders: CAFOD – £84.75 (Goal 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions)

  • Sanctuary Leaders: Oakhaven – £85.75 (Goal 10: Reduce Inequalities)

  • Eco Leaders: New Forest Basics Bank – £38 (Goal 2: Zero Hunger)

  • Travel Ambassadors – £141 (Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities)

All funds raised will be added to the totals from our Christmas Fayre and Non-Uniform Days, helping each group make an even greater impact for their chosen causes.

Thank you once again for your continued support – it truly makes a difference and helps bring our school community together.
