Within our partnership of schools, we endeavour to encourage our children to become
“Architects of a Better World.” Part of supporting this vision, is to ensure children learn about
experiences of other children, all around the globe. Our charity challenge across the
partnership this half term is to support others in need, internationally.

We have made links with a school in Lusaka, Zambia, a small community school in the
capital city. It has 157 pupils on roll, from 1 year to 17 years of age. Many of the pupils are
orphans and from the streets of Lusaka.

Eneless Patmos School pupils are passionate about singing and dancing.
We would like to raise money to purchase musical instruments to send to the school, for
children to learn to play and to enjoy. We are working with our music partners Showcase to
source good quality musical instruments that we can send abroad. We believe that all
children should enjoy the gift of music!

To raise money, we are inviting all pupils to take place in a sponsored Zumba session to
raise money for Eneless Patmos School. Each class will take part in a Zumba class, led by Superstar Sports in addition to their usual PE lesson for the week. We are asking for a suggested contribution of £3 per pupil for the session, though you are of course welcome to donate more or less, depending on what you are able to afford.

Money from all Zumba sessions across the partnership will then be pooled to purchase
musical instruments to be taken to Zambia. We have contact with a charity who will be able
to support with the delivery of equipment.

We are asking for all donations to come in through to the school office on Friday 9th June,
with Zumba sessions to start across the partnership from Monday 12th June.
Thank you for your continued support.
