Zambia Update:
Zambia Update
We have received a lovely video from Eneless Patmos School in Lusaka, Zambia! You may recall that we have previously supported the school through initiatives such as 'Zumba for Zambia' and written pen pal letters!
You may spot in the video that pupils are wearing OLSJ school uniform - kindly donated by our PTA, parents and pupils. The school does not have a uniform of its own and relies on donations. Many of the pupils at Eneless Patmos School are orphans and wearing a school uniform fosters a sense of community and belonging amongst the pupils.
Our school Governor Roger Maughn is currently in Lusaka as part of his work with Footsteps for Zambia. Our pupils raised £467.28 last year for the charity, from non-uniform days and our Christmas and Summer Fetes. The money will be used to help expand Eneless Patmos School to support more pupils from Lusaka, as well as to support with daily meals and educational resources.
Well done to everyone - we are working hard to become architects of a better world!
