Reading Ambassadors:

As part of sharing our love for Reading, the Reading Ambassadors have been working alongside Mr Riste-Smith & Miss Taylor to consider opportunities to collaborate across our school to share books together. We are beginning to phase in reading buddies and have started by getting to know our adults in school and their favourite books. Every Friday at the end of each day, we have been getting together in the hall or classrooms to listen to a member of staff share their favourite book with our class. By the end of this half term every child will have been read to and know the favourite book of each of the adults within our school family.

We have also started to visit them in their classrooms or them to our classrooms too! It has been really exciting to venture around the school and work alongside different grown ups.

Next, we will be exploring partnering up with a 'reading buddy' so that every child in the school has a reading buddy to share books with! As the summer sun approaches, we are beginning to open up our library bus too!
